Doug's list

Well I don't know if I can do 100 things about me but I'll give it a shot...

1. I'm super stressed right now about next week
2. In 3 days I have 4 midterms, a poster project and a paper due
3. I'm scared that I'm gonna bomb my exams because I'll burn out
4. But I know that spring break comes right after so I'm trying to focus on that and work hard
8. I hate being wrong
9. It sounds conceited but I'm not wrong very often
10. I used to be shy about being smart but now I'm proud of it
11. Maybe it is conceited of me to think I'm smart, but I'm also very insecure about being wrong
12. I think everyone is insecure
13. Right now Chemistry is making me very nervous, I don't know if I can pass the class
14. It's hard to get used to just hoping for a pass when the last two years I had straight A's
15. Even if I do pass it I am planning on writing the MCAT after the semester is done
16. Med school scares me more than anything else
17. What if I get in but don't make it through??
18. Maybe I should worry about getting in first!!
19. I think my hair is going more blonde the older I get
20. And that's not a joke, it's true
21. People actually consider me blonde haired now... except my facial hair is still reddish brown... what's up with that?
22. I think we have a great family
23. Especially for all the shit we've been through
24. I brag about our family all the time
25. Jen I think you're the best big sister I could ask for, you've helped me so much over the years
26. I love our talks about medical/anatomy stuff that nobody else understands and makes them just look at us like weirdo's
27. Ashley you have no idea how proud I am of you, I brag about you the most...
28. Raising a daughter, going to school, working, and being pregnant with another baby (boy please!)... you should see the reactions when I tell people about you...
29. Geoff even though living together can be tough, I think you and I are pretty good at it, I'm glad we have so much fun
30. Ross I think it's awesome you finished school, I hope you enjoy the next few months and this summer... make it the best summer of your life
31. But I do really think you should move here next fall with us, it would be a lot of fun and there's lots of opportunities here for you
32. Mom I love you so much and can't thank you enough for everything you've done for me
33. You deserve an award, you are absolutely the best mother ever
34. on that note can I borrow $50??
35. haha just kidding... sorta... i'm broke
36. being a student sucks, but at the same time it's awesome
37. It's always so cool to hear myself say I'm a UBC student, it's better than just saying "I work at Home Depot"
38. I love my job even though the money isn't very good
39. I have so much fun at work I would almost go in just to hang out with my friends there... almost
40. Girls are expensive
41. And valentine's day is coming up
42. I have 2 midterms on valentine's day... including one at 7pm
55. Wow I made it past 50 already, this isn't as hard as I thought it would be
56. I'm so excited for this summer, I think it's gonna be a lot of fun
57. I've become closer friends with some great people and I think it'll make for an awesome summer
58. We're planning a big trip up to Merritt for Music Fest in July
59. Right now we have 3 couples going, waiting for 2 more ppl and then we're gonna reserve a big RV to go in
60. I'm doing all the planning for the trip, it's fun!
61. I've never been a big planner but this is pretty cool
62. Tomorrow night I'm playing in a volleyball tournament at UBC
63. It's from 9pm to 3am... gonna be crazy
64. and I work the next morning too... uh ohs...
65. But it's just for fun so I'm looking forward to it
66. I'm also looking forward to moving closer to school
67. It takes me anywhere from 60-90 minutes each way, 5 days a week right now
68. Not fun
69. Our apartment sucks lately, it's been leaking all winter, and now our bathroom drain is plugged
70. The drain being plugged is sort of not the landlord's fault though... **cough-geoff-cough** haha
71. Just so you all know... scented candles and lighters can be a dangerous combination in the bathroom...
72. This is getting harder to find things to write about
73. What else is there to me???
74. Jen just the fact that you know what Visceral means, in your post, makes you awesome
75. And you have everything in the world to be confident about
76. People everywhere want to be you...
77. You have an amazing family (I mean Rob & Katie in this context), you married your highschool sweetheart, you're both extremely succesful... the list goes on
78. You also have a lot of courage to be able to pick up and move like you did, and look how quickly you've made friends... I don't know if it's the right word but I think you guys have a lot of tenacity
79. I love our 2 neices/daughters and can't wait for the next one... (remember Ashley--BOY)
80. I wish I was closer and could spend more time with them
81. Actually I wish I was closer to all of you... well except Geoff anyways, that would just be weird
82. I think it would be great if Mom moved to the Lower Mainland somewhere for work
83. I have a lot of dirty laundry to do... hehe just kidding again... sorta
84. I'm lazy
85. My laziness worries me sometimes
86. And I haven't been very organized at home lately, late paying bills and such
87. It's just been so busy that I lose track of what's due and stuff
88. I should use my whiteboard calendar better to be organized
89. I love my whiteboard calendar, it's sweet
90. I'm almost done this list and then I'm gonna go to bed
91. I didn't think I'd make it to 100
92. You guys all better do this now...
93. I've been really happy this past year
94. And I keep getting happier, somehow despite this ridiculous course load I have right now
95. For the first time in my life I'm actually popular at school
96. In high school I was definitely not popular
97. It's amazing how it's such a big school but I can still always find someone I know to sit with and study, or usually just hang out and not study
98. I should study more... I think I study the least amount of hours out of all my friends
99. I'm getting really sleepy
100. Wow I made it, I hope you're happy now!! I love you guys!
