Doug's update

Hey everyone, just thought i'd write a little something just to say hi and let you know what's been up in my life. First to Mom though... I was thinking of the tattoo we all got because i want to get another one this summer. And I was trying to think of something to put in the middle of the sun for you, when i realized that i don't need anything, because you are the sun! You created all of our lives, and you've been the light that gets me through the day my whole life. I can't tell you how awesome it is that you survived all those years raising us, and apparently did such a great job as we all seem to be doing really well now. You're amazing and deserve an award.

So lets see... what's new in my life... Well on friday the 3 of us (geoff, ross and i) went to a pitch n putt not far from here, which was a lot of fun, except when we got back to the car we discovered that somebody smashed my passengers window and ripped out my stereo, stole my ipod and geoff's sweater. So that really sucked.. now i have an appt with icbc to make a claim, but of course after all this nice weather we've been having it starts raining and i have to put plastic on the window.
Work's been good, working 4 days a week with geoff doing construction and then 1 day plus 1 evening at home depot strictly to keep the job... in fact my manager was asking me last week if there was any way i could open my availability because it's so pathetic... hahaha... and then the next day i totally forgot about my shift and had already had 3 beers when they called so i had a nice buzz going on for a bit!
Jen i saw the pics of katie playing soccer on your blog and omg she's the cutest thing ever!!! We'd all absolutely love to come visit you guys, geoff and i work mon-fri so we'd have to try to take an extra day off, when are her games?
That's about it in my life, not much is new really... just trying to enjoy myself as much as possible... went cosmic bowling with friends a couple times which is a total blast! For my birthday Andrea bought me a subwoofer for my car, a kicker 12" square solo-baric (jealous ash?). Unfortunately I can't install it yet because I don't have an amp to power it. I got some supplies from home depot and tried to build a box, but i'm not sure how well it turned out so i might just try to buy one.
Well that's all for now folks... I hope you're all doing terrific and i miss everybody... well except geoff and ross cuz we've spent way too much time together lately... lol j/k.

happy mothers day mom

Mom - just wanted to write a note to say happy mothers day. I feel bad I wasnt more on the ball to get you a gift there on time but... thats me :)
Thank you so much for being my mom and for doing such a good job. You are trully the best mom ever, you taught me how to be a good person, to love, laugh, succeed, and to make the most of my life. Rob and I know that we owe so much of where we are now to the lessons you taught us as teens and to the support, guidance and encouragement you have given us as adults.
I cant figure out why karma lets you be so cursed with money, cars and men cause you deserve to be rich, drive a BMW, and be in love too. As a mom I know that I can get alot of satisfaction out of Katies happiness so I hope that seeing how well all of your children are doing makes you happy and satisfied because you are the reason for it.

june camping

hello all. How is everybody doing? Boys it would be nice to hear from you all. Ross what are you up to? Anyways, all is good here. Not much interesting going on. I started a papper route. I had been feeling kinda house bound and was being lazy and needed to do something. So monday to saturday I get up and go deliver pappers before corey goes to work. It is great exercise, takes about 45 min and it gets me up every morning. I am hoping to loose some weight, but I dont have the self dicipline to get up on my own and go for a walk or jog so this way I have to. And a few bucks spending cash never hurts. The kids are great. Kaylee is the best baby. She is so happy, she sleeps well, she dosent cry, she really just goes with the flow. She has started using her voice a bit.It's amazing how fast she has gone from a little newborn to a interactive baby. Well I wanted to touch base with all of you on the idea of going camping around moms b-day. I am pretty sure she has mentioned it to everyone but as far as I know nothing definate has been settled. I would really like to get everyone together and go camping. I am home everyday right now, corey has everyweekend off, so lets get something figured out. The weekend of the 23-24 would woork. Thats the first weekend of summer. Well hope you are all doing well. oh by the way I finally updated my blog. there are some new pics. Bye
