From Jen

Holy crap... I havent checked our blog for a while, you guys are awesome. I loved reading everyones stuff.

Here is Ross teaching Katie how to skateboard at donna's with the board ava gave her.

Ross, I'm sorry things are tough - I too remember being in that "I dont know what to do" stage. It sucks.I can remember hanging out in Kamloops with Rob and Vern all talking about what we were going to do with our lives and none of us having a clue. As for the car thing I would still advise just waiting before you get into payments - easy for me to say with a new truck now, but if you can swing Ashley's car for a while then once winter comes and if the job is still good, and rent inst too much and snowboarding doesnt make you want to not work then get a car. Its so easy to get into debt and way too hard to get out. trust me.

Geoff - I have no advice on the women part. Enjoy the fact that you will never have the doubts I did with Rob where I wondered if he was the one cause I hadnt been with anyone else. My friends Gary and Retha met in thier late 20s and had both been single players who just never found the right one to settle down with. They met, it clicked and they never looked back. Rob asks if you've checked out gay pride? lol.

Doug - ya school sucks and I too cant do chemistry - my peanut gallery is reading this while I type and says he thought school was a career move for you - just wait till you hit med school. Hang in there, this will be funny to look back on in a few.... well, ten years. lol

Ash - im sooo not having more kids. I will try to send you some energy via telepathy. They are cute though and ya it will be totally worth it in a few years.

mom- good luck with the lising. the house looks awesome, thanks for coming up the hill with us on saturday, i had a blast. Im still watching westjet but no sale on yet. im very excited for you to see where we live - keep driving around the city thinking of things i want to show you.

So here is a pic of my truck - its not a great one and i will try to take some nicer ones tommorow. It is great and is so easy for me to drive- except the clutch weighs a ton!!! Katie loves it too - as does rob. it really is a great family vehicle for us.

This is what rob came home with today - a mini quad for katie. yeah I know - we're spoiled rotten and y'all hate us. but shut up - its so cute! We took it out for a rip down the street and through an empty lot. Katie was squeeling with delight - soaked her dad with mud and had a blast. Its a 70cc, made by pantera which i hear is a sub company of artic cat (i thought it was a satanic rock group) anyways we may have convinced our friends down the street to buy one for thier friends too so we can all get together on the weekend and drink beer on thier porch while the kids ride in the field behind thier house. life is good.

one last bit - we ripped to the okanagan for easter and hit the camping gang up summerland on saturday. All the dads took the kids out quading together. Made me happy, proud and a bit sad. They are all such lucky kids and the dads all real men with true hearts.
